Request Return Authorization (RMA)

To return an order to Oregon Scientific Store, you MUST request a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) within 30 Days of purchase. Once we have received and processed your RMA request, we will send you instructions via email on how to return the unit to us.

We will not accept any returned merchandise without a valid RMA number.

RMA numbers are required on all returns. Packages that do not display a valid RMA number on the outside of the return container will be refused upon delivery.

Return Process:

Send an email with the following return information:

  1. Order Number (six digits)
  2. The reason for the return: Defective, Don't Want
  3. Specify if you want a Refund or Replacement

Return Policy

Returnable items

If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return it for replacement, or refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days from the date of purchase with the following exceptions:

  • Weather stations and weather station sensors are return for replacement only once installed outdoors.
  • OEM Display Consoles are return for replacement only, no refunds.
  • Software is non-returnable.
  • Batteries are non-returnable once the package has been opened.
  • Orders from the Oregon Scientific Factory Outlet Store are final and non-returnable unless the item is defective. Defective factory outlet items may be returned for replacement only.



Please ship the item back to us prepaid. We are unable to accept COD or freight-collect shipments.

All returns must be packed in an outer shipping carton. Returns that are received in manufacturer's boxes will be refused.


All returns of non-defective items are subject to a 15 percent processing fee.

All returns are also subject to inspection and testing.

Original shipping costs and return shipping costs are also non-refundable and we do not reimburse or refund return shipping charges.

When you receive your order, please keep the carton, including all packaging materials, inserts, manuals, warranty cards (not filled out) and all accessories for a 30-day minimum in the event that you need to return this product to Oregon Scientific Store. All returned merchandise must be in the original factory carton including all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, warranty cards (not filled out) and all accessories.

Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the original manufacturer's carton.

If products are returned for a refund and have missing parts or are clearly damaged, Oregon Scientific Store reserves the right to provide a partial refund.

Orders cancelled after being processed and/or refused upon delivery are subject to a $10.00 fee plus any applicable shipping charges.

We will do our best to address your cancellation requests. We will provide confirmation on the status of your order whether it has been cancelled or shipped.
