Oregon Scientific Temperature or Humidity Readings Display LL.L or HH.H

Return to Product Support

Oregon Scientific weather stations, thermometers, weather forecasters, atomic clocks with temperature indicate the temperature or humidity reading is out of range by displaying LL.L (too low) or HH.H (too high).

Each model has different specifications. Please see the user manual for the operating range of both the display and the wireless sensors.

If the current temperature or humidity reading should be within the display or wireless sensors operating range and the display shows either LL.L or HH.H, then first follow the reset procedure to attempt to resolve the error.

If the reset procedure doesn't resolve the error then the sensor most likely will need to be replaced. See our sensor guide for replacement sensors.
