Oregon Scientific RM336PESA +ECO Projection Clock at $39.95, is powered by the sun, and comes equipped with a detachable solar panel! To charge, simply detach the solar panel and face it directly towards the sun for a few hours to receive the amount of energy necessary to power the device. Five to six hours of solar charging will provide power to operate unit for up to 2 months without projection, and 1 week with projection. To save energy, the smart sensor detects room brightness and automatically adjusts the projection feature. Two AAA rechargeable batteries hold the charge received by the solar panel.
